Modern Topiary is completed!

I have tried to write the book I wanted when I started clipping topiary – so it is pithy, has illustrations, and tries to solve the problems you might have when making topiary.

Available for free here, to download as a PDF.

(Click the tiny download button below to read Modern Topiary. I know it’s a tiny button, but I’m a gardener not a web designer. At this moment I can’t work out how to make it bigger. Sorry!)

“10/10. Your character is on the page alright. A down-to-earth guide to your craft and knowledge. I especially liked the bit on deciduous and native species.” Noel, gardener.

In the future I would love to make a printed version.

But for now, this does exactly what I want. To help as many people as possible learn the art of topiary – there is no cost barrier to prevent you accessing this knowledge and the PDF is compressed to be as easy to email and share with keen gardeners as possible.

So go, download it, read it, get into the garden and have a go.

And tell your friends!

For more comments on people who have read the book, check out these thoughts on Modern Topiary.

And if you don’t like to read, but wish to learn about clipping technique, plants to prune, the best tools to use and the sort of shapes you can design then I made a video for Garden Masterclass.

You can watch that right now by clicking here.
