The Bee Mix helps feed the bees with the a mixture of bee-friendly native wildflower seeds, using only species recommended by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. All species are rich in pollen and nectar, which bees can easily access from spring until late summer. Seeds include foxglove, viper’s-bugloss, birdsfoot trefoil, wild marjoram and red clover. Each seedball comprise of a approximately 100 seeds, wrapped in a clay, peat-free compost and chili ball. The clay and chili naturally protects seeds from birds and insects. The easy way to garden – no need to plant the seedballs, just scatter on top of soil or compost and let nature take its course (but perhaps water a little if the weather is extremely dry!). For best results, scatter in the spring or autumn.
