With its curved shape on two planes for ease of working, the Castor trowel is a design classic.
It has a beech handle and pointed, heart-shaped bronze blade. Sharp edged and scoop shaped, we find it is a most practical trowel for weeding and planting. Loved by the brilliant vegetable grower and No-Dig Gardener Charles Dowding.
Trowel Length: 12ins / 30.5cm,
Maximum width: 3 1/4 ins / 8.5cm.
Weight 8oz /225g.
The tool head of the trowel is made of solid bronze (copper with a little bit of tin). Other parts are pure copper, brass and other copper alloys.
